Dan Glimne is one of Sweden's most respected voices in poker. Born in 1947, he studied at Lund University before a career spanning professional poker, broadcasting, publishing, and game invention. A contributor to Encyclopaedia Britannica and featured on the Hendon Mob Poker Database, his work has shaped how Scandinavians think about poker — and now, how the world will play it.

What is Final Table Poker?

A two-player strategic card duel created by Dan Glimne, Swedish Poker Hall of Fame inductee. Unlike standard poker, there are no random deals. Both players see all 11 cards from the start — 9 poker hands plus Bluff! and All-in. The skill is in deciding when to play each card.

How is this different from regular poker?

In regular poker, cards are randomly dealt and luck plays a major role. In Final Table Poker, both players receive the same 11 fixed cards and can see their entire hand. There is no shuffling, no dealing, and no hidden information about your own cards. Strategy lies entirely in timing and reading your opponent.

Is this a gambling game?

No. Final Table Poker is a social, skill-based strategy game. There is no real money involved — all chips are virtual and non-redeemable. No cash prizes, no loot boxes, no pay-to-win. Pure entertainment and friendly competition.

Who is Dan Glimne?

Dan Glimne is one of Sweden's most respected poker authorities — a Hall of Fame inductee, TV commentator, Encyclopaedia Britannica contributor, and game designer with over four decades at the table. He created the physical Final Table Poker card game that this app is based on.
