Dan Glimne (born 27 April 1947, Sweden) is one of Sweden's most respected figures in poker — a player, broadcaster, author, game designer, and Encyclopaedia Britannica contributor. He studied at Lund University before a career spanning over four decades in the poker world.

As product development manager at Alga games (1980–89), Glimne created "Ostindiska Kompaniet," which won Game of the Year in 1992. His work in game design led to the creation of Final Table Poker — a two-player strategic card duel that was officially published, manufactured, and distributed as a physical board game.

Glimne served as poker commentator for TV3 and TV4 in Sweden, becoming the voice and face of televised poker across Scandinavia. He authored "Pokerhandboken" (The Poker Handbook), Sweden's definitive guide to poker strategy, and contributed poker entries to Encyclopaedia Britannica.

He is listed on the Hendon Mob Poker Database, the Global Poker Index, and BoardGameGeek as a game designer. His Wikipedia biography documents his contributions to poker culture and game invention.
